iPhone Vs Samsung Galaxy Review

These are two different species of smartphones. Each has its pros and cons. The user should decide what suits best for their requirements.

Apple’s iPhones have come a long way since the rounded, plastic-backed iPhone first released in 2007. Newer models like the iPhone X, XS and XS Max now take on a sleeker glass design with a stainless steel band connecting the front and back.
Apple also decided to rid itself of the home button, which doubled as a fingerprint sensor, to provide an edge-to-edge display with only a small bezel at the top of the screen.

Software:

What’s the use of a hardware with the best specs without the tools to run it. Sorry Samsung, this is where you loose out. iOS, hands down is the winner by light years. It’s easy to use, complemented by its ability to hang a ‘little less’ ( iOS 11 is the worst update I’ve seen) than Android makes it MY favourite.

Winner: Apple

CAMERA

For most people taking casual snapshots, both Samsung and Apple offer photo quality that is good enough to replace a dedicated camera. That said, each company has strengths and weaknesses when it comes to photos and video.

In general, Samsung's telephoto lens (these phones have two lenses, one wide-angle and other for distance), while the new Apple phones have better dynamic range. However, in some cases, Apple's dynamic range comes at the expense of flattening the visual tone and contrast of images.

Samsung is right up there when you’re talking about front runners in camera development. The S10+ made headlines for its three rear-camera lens set up,
which features a 16Mp ultra wide angle lens capturing a 123-degree field of view wider than even the human eye can see. Samsung Galaxy loyalists can make use of ‘Scene Optimiser’ to automatically adjust and improve scene quality when the camera recognises the object or scene in the frame. Some of the modes include food, animals, greenery, beaches and sunsets.

Hardware:

Samsung is light years ahead of Apple when it comes to their hardwares. Samsung phones rip iPhones apart when it comes to hardware specs, the RAM, the megapixels on your camera, the storage, some of the now so common features like face recognition and fingerprint scanner were introduced by Samsung long before Apple followed suit.

Winner: Samsung

Storage capacity
Depending on your needs, you may want lots of storage space. For example, if you want to store many high-res movies, then you will require more space than someone who does not watch movies on their phone.

Samsung phones come with a MicroSD card expansion slot, which lets you increase storage capacity beyond what is built into the phone. The top storage option from Samsung is the 512GB version of the Note 9, which can expand to 1TB with a 512GB MicroSD card.

The Apple phones max out at 512GB of internal storage that is not expandable.

Summary: If you need 1TB of data storage, go with Samsung. Otherwise, both companies offer good options, but they are expensive.

Operating system Famous for its in-house expertise, Apple iPhones the iOS operating system. It may not be as much as of a behemoth as Android but iOS is owned by Apple, meaning that the manufacturer has more control over producing updates, security patches and rolling these updates out to its devices, than users of Google's Android operating system.
Samsung is the biggest smartphone brand in the world and also the largest smartphone manufacturer running on the Android operating system. Samsung Galaxy devices are typically launched with the newest iteration of Android’s software. To optimise the use of its devices, Samsung has ‘One UI’, an operating system skin to overlay Android that offers a range of visual and functional improvements.

Password management

As the need for strong, unique passwords grows, the complexity and hassle of remembering those passwords also increase. Password managers, such as LastPass and Dashlane, help you create a unique and strong password for every website.
The password manager then automatically supplies those credentials when logging into websites and apps.
